Exposure Gallery has asked me to put together a multi-artist show, including my work, for the
Christmas season.
Together we have taken this as the gallery’s first opportunity to extend it’s reach beyond photography and into other creative possibilities. Partly because the gallery has been contemplating a move like this for some time and partly because I didn’t want to be the only artist in the exhibition who wasn’t a photographer.
Calling upon friends whose work I love and respect I have assembled a collection of warm,
whimsical, and human works. We have chosen to go with small pieces for this show to allow us to
fill the walls of the Exposure Gallery with a riot of colour and texture.
The show ranges from photography to ink, found objects to paint, and prints to collage. All leaping
off the walls with each artist’s passion and energy.
Many of us have shown together in the past and as well as in solo exhibitions. There is a connection
of friendship, love of their craft and mutual respect amongst us. We hope you love what we have put
together as much as we have loved creating it.
